So I ordered a size bigger as the previous reviews said to do. However, I find these spandex shorts to fit true to size. My waist is 28 and I bought the medium in black and purple. They fit me perfectly but I think I could have gone with a small. Love the feel and overall fit. I will get my money's worth out these shorts for sure
