DEFINITELY THICKER THAN ORIGINALS
Be aware that these are significantly thicker than the original Gellows. I love the originals but decided to try these hoping they would last longer with the gel layer inside two sock layers. They do seem pretty durable, but they definitely have a different feel since they are thicker. I have pretty wide toes and metatarsals, so these add a bit too much bulk for me - getting a wide enough shoe to accommodate them means the shoe doesn't fit the rest of my foot as well as I would like, and my toes are feeling a little crunched... I think I'll go back to the regular Gellows when I fit my next pair of shoes. If you have a narrower foot, though, or are looking for a bit of a thicker pad, these might be worth trying! Just know they are not an exact replacement for the regular ones.

These are perfect for a long pointe class or show because they keep their comfort. Compared to my first pair of toe pads these are 10x better and help me focus more on the technique then the pain in my feet.

I bought these after my Ashley Bouder toe pads ripped. I actually didn't buy them on Discount Dance, I bought them at a dance store. I was excited at first because they were a new product they just started carrying. The first couple times I wore them they were really nice. Then they started to smell terrible. I don't really have super smelly feet so I feel like they hold smell really badly. I went to wash them and the gel started separating from the fabric. So I can't wash them and they are stuck like that. I was really disappointed. Unfortunately I would not recommend this product to a friend.

These are way better than the regular ones. They last me longer because the gel is totally covered with the sock on both inside and out. These are the best for comfort and still not too thick.
