Meridian,MSI thought these would just be typical hairnets, but I was happily surprised. The threads are just a tiny bit thicker, which makes them more durable than the ones you'll find at your local drug store. I will definitely come back for more of these.

10/16/2015I freaking love these hairnets. They are very large, so you can double loop over the bun. The medium brown id the perfect color. The only downside is that they will get elaphantine holes in them, but other than that, I love these things!

06/07/2015I love these hairnets so much, to the point where I always order a few at a time, and frankly, you should too. I have been wearing them for a few years now, and they have never, not once disappointed me. They blend in with your hair color perfectly (but I beseech you to be aware of what color is right for you, as the "blonde" hair nets are more of a white blond [the type we commonly associate with people suffering from albinism and unicorns], whilst the light brown is most fitting for people with medium to darker dirty blonde hair [my color]. If your hair is any shade of brown, then I would get the medium brown). I love how stretchy and supple they are, however I have some durability concerns; if handled roughly or "overstretched", they will tear, and I mean, like, really tear. Elephantine-sized holes will begin to appear. But overall, a very superb and pleasant product.

05/28/2015After going through a box of hairnets per week for months, a friend told me to try these. They are GREAT!!! I bought two packets the week before a show, just trying to find some kind of hairnet that would last me through the week. I ended up using only one hairnet- I wore it for six days, four to five hours a day, and it lasted me through the show, and for a couple months after. I have strawberry blonde/red hair, and the light brown blended in PERFECTLY!!! I definitely recommend these to anyone!

01/18/2015These are the only hair nets I will wear, they are so great. They disappear in your hair and don't rip. I can reuse mine about 5 times before I throw them away because of hairspray damage. But in all seriousness, if you're looking for hairnets I strongly recommend these.

12/28/2014I stuck with Bunheads hairnets for the longest time, because they were all I could get my hands on. Soon I was going through so many I needed to find another option. Although the color worked with my hair pretty well (I'm a reddish brown and used a light brown, I think) they were a little rough and tore SO easily. I would go through one per class, ending with a giant hole in them. I wrapped the net around my bun a few times, but never too tight. I ended up going to WalMart and use the hairnets sold there. This product certainly didn't work for me.

12/10/2014A lot of people prefer the cheap, drug store hair nets, but they cannot compare to these. If you need a hair net for someone whose hair is not dark brown, black, or blond, these are the obvious choice, but they are just a much better quality. One Bunhead hair net lasts us easily six weeks, sometimes longer, being used 5-6 days a week, without even a small hole. They may cost more, but I think that they are the better value in the end. And to have a hair net that actually does disappear in the hair? Yeah, so worth it.

11/14/2014My daughter dances 4-5 times a week and her hair has to always be in a bun. These hair nets really hold up well for repeated use. The various colors that are offered allow a perfect match! So many store bought bun nets are only offered in blonde (which are too white ) or dark brown (which how too dark). My daughter has strawberry blonde so the light brown was actually a great blend for her hair!

05/26/2014I bought this for my four-year-old daughter for her first dance recital. It definitely holds in the fly-away hairs very well. I used it with the Bun Head bun-holder (foamy scruncy) and it fit well. My daughter has light brown/blondish hair so I bought the "blonde" hair net. The hair net meshes well with her hair color. I am happy with the product.

05/14/2014I know you can wrap a net a couple times, but it gets a bit tricky when you have to do it four times. I wish there was an itty-bitty size. My little girl's hair is super fit, and even though it's long, it's still almost non-bun. It looks like more hairnet than anything! Still, I would recommend this net since that's just the way they're all made. Doesn't stop me from wishing they had a small size.

05/01/2014I have bought these before, expecting an amazing net. They are nothing more than ordinary. Though they aren't bad, they are expensive and the drugstore hairnets by Goody and Conair do the job just fine. Also, the medium brown color is actually really light and redish, so it didn't match my hair at all.

04/14/2014These are fine for holding your bun smooth during class and rehearsals, even when you lay on the floor for stretches and conditioning. I noticed a couple of previous and negative reviews on these. I want to address those complaints: For those who don't know, if you first put your hair in the bun and insert the bobby pins BEFORE you put the net on, the net won't tear. Now, sometimes the net does get tangled somehow in the pins even when it is put on last, but if you are careful, you shouldn't have them tearing all the time. Now, for the person who thought it was too big for a bun, well, yes it is, if you don't wrap it two or three times. I make my bun, take the net and lay one "corner" of it over the bun, then I twist the net over and cover my bun a second time, twist it again, and then wrap it around the bun a third time. Perfect fit! These things are great! I just hate people thinking they are bad simply cuz they may not know these tricks.

03/20/2014I love these hairnets so much! I have fine hair but a lot of it, and these hairnets hold all of the little stray pieces in. They are a very cheap price and they last relatively long. My only complaint about these hairnets is that they ALWAYS, after about a week of using them, get a hole in them. Granted, I use them every single day, so they wear out quicker. My hair is extremely dark brown, almost black, with red undertones and I use the Dark Brown hairnets. My sister, who is a lighter brown, uses the Dark Brown as well. Definitely would recommend these!

02/17/2014I was disappointed to learn that this item was a hair net and not meant solely for buns which I assumed from reading the description. I ordered both sizes and they seem about the same... too big. I suppose as a hair net it would be fine.

01/21/2014These hairnets are amazing!!! First of all they really help hold in your bun for those of you that don't know. I have layers in my hair so every time I do my bun there are little pieces of hair that stick out of my bun but whenever I put one of these hairnets in they make my bun look neat. These are also one of the strongest hairnets I have used so far. I recommend these for all.

01/19/2014I will start out by saying that I cannot do my bun without these hairnets. They are strong enough that they actually help hold my bun together, which is just what I need. They are easy to put on and take off of your bun, but I do go through them quickly. They are strong at first, but they get fragile with use and being caked in hairspray. During normal classes I can get a week or two out of each one. During Nutcracker, I went through three envelopes (nine nets) because they kept ripping after having bobby pins stuck through them, and being covered in hairspray. To sum it up, I can't live without these, and I always buy at least 3 envelopes at a time! They also blend in with your hair, and are invisible!

01/04/2014I originally bought these from my local dance supply store and they worked so well to keep all my thick hair in place. My bun has never fallen out in class like it had once when I didn't use them. My hair is a medium darker brown with lots of red in it and the dark brown matches it perfectly it is so invisible that I have gone to a school basketball game after class and people have asked how my bun didn't fall out from dancing. I use them with the Bunheads bun pins and these two are the ultimate team when putting my hair in a bun for class.

10/20/2013These are great when you need your hair in a bun but don't want to use hairspray. I use them when I go to ballet, and they stay in all class long, and on normal days, the bun stays in all day long! I can keep my hair up with one of these, a hair tie, and just a couple of pins, no product required! They fit your whole head, so I just wrap it around my bun. They can be noticeable, but people who notice think it's a great idea. I'd definitely recommend these! :) Just be careful with these, as they are fragile, but even when i broke one of mine, it was still usable :)

10/13/2013Finally, with these hairnets I can wear my hair in a bun. Growing up, I've never been able to successfully tie my hair in a bun and have it stay tied up without falling out. These nets are wonderful. I use them with the 2 1/2" hairpins and then a few of my own bobby pins. My hair is black, so it's really easy for the colors of the hairnet and pins to blend in, so you can't really see that much detail until you're close up.
I'm surprised how durable these nets are. My hair stays in place when I do my jumps and they've kept my hair in a bun for an entire day without any problem. If you have trouble holding your hair in a bun, get these nets. Seriously, they work wonders.

08/06/2013If you are pursuing ballet you definitely should own hair nets. These help sooooo much to make your bun look neater. These aren't that durable, each hair net lasts me about a week, but they're really cheap so it's not that big a deal. Seriously, buy some hair nets. And if you're a redhead like me, the auburn color works very well. :D

06/03/2013These hairnets appear to be of good quality, but the color is very different than we expected! We ordered light brown and it looks very blondish-green! It shows too much in my daughter's light brown hair, causing us to have to buy new hairnets:(

12/31/2012I use these hairnets for ballet class. If you are a darker blonde I suggest going for the light brown hair nets. I am a lighter blonde but with dark highlights and use the regular blonde and they look great. They just rip easily if you are not careful. If you are really careful they can last a long time. They are big, so with my long and big hair, they are the perfect size. By the way, they come 3 hair nets in one pack.

12/26/2012I have really layered hair, so other than hair pins a bun net is a must. I've been using the same one for a few months now, and there are no rips. It does rip kind of easily, but it's OK if you're careful (and if it does rip, sew it up and it works just great!).
These come in packs of three, so they'll last you around a year if you're not too rough with them!

08/17/2012My hair is changing from blonde to brown, and I can't find any hairnets to match, but these are perfect! There are nets for any color hair, and a wide variety of browns. They can tear on pins, but the're so big that if they have a hole you can just overlap them. Love them!

08/15/2012These nets are great! They are a bit fragile and can rip on your pins if you aren't careful, but I love them! I have dark blonde/dirty blonde hair and I ordered the blonde. They are invisible in my hair but when in my hand or something they are WAY lighter than my hair.. It's an OCD thing and I'm the only one that notices it but whatever. 04/11/2012its pretty simple to put on and stays put while dancing, but when you take it out of your bun, no matter how hard you try, you are most definetly going to get a rip or a tear from either your nails, hair pins, or hair elastic. good quality though. i would say if you have hair that doesn't get tangled easily, then buy it. if that's not the case, don't buy it.

11/22/2009Overall, these are pretty good hairnets and they don't really show. But they tear easily so I suggest buying in bulk. Also I have reddish brown hair and I got the auburn but it is really red!!! Only get auburn if you really are a true carrot top. i found that the light brown works better with my hair, so if you have reddish brown hair like I do, just go with the light brown.

Florida,I love these hair nets! I never have to worry about my bun while I'm dancing anymore! These hair nets are very durable and are such a great price! The only reason I've ever had one rip is from one of my bobby pins snagging it when I pulled it out! I recommend these hair nets 100% :)

12/30/2006I would recommend these hair nets to anyone! They are great for shows because it looks like you have your hair in a classical bun, but no one knows that you are wearing a hair net. They keep your hair very neat, with no ends sticking out. You just have to be careful not to rip them, though. Do not sleep in them and when taking out bobby pins, be careful. It is also very nice that they have elastic in them so that they fit to any bun size, not matter how much hair you have!
