If your dance studio allows for black tights then this pair is the one to buy! My daughter loved them and she has always had issues with the comfort (or discomfort) with her dance clothing. This pair worked out well!

COMFORT
These tights seemed awesome at first, very comfy fabric and stretch is nice. But they don't have a crotch area so it gives horrendous camel toe. They are absolutely fine if you are wearing a skirt though!

WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!
This is my first time trying on Gaynor-Minden tights. When I opened the package, I was happy at the feel of the fabric and the construction of the waistband.
As I was pulling them on I noticed that there was no gusset, or crotch panel. There was a really thick seam running down the center of the tights. My first thought was, oh, no, this won't be good. Still, I pulled them on, put on a leotard and moved around a bit.
Having a thick center seam and no gusset is extremely uncomfortable. I am trying to put this in delicate terms, but no one wants a thick center seam pressing tightly against against an extremely sensitive area. I can only imagine how much irritation I would feel after 8 hours of dancing.
I ended up throwing them away unworn, as tights cannot be returned.
If not for the lack of a gusset, these would be terrific tights. The fabric is extremely soft yet supportive. In the short time I wore them I got the sense that these tights would hold up well and would not bag or sag. I was really interested in the way the waistline was constructed. I felt that the waistband would hold up well and would roll down, curl, or become prematurely stretched out. I am almost certain I would have loved these tights with a gusset, or at least if the seam had been flattened and surged, but as is it's extremely uncomfortable. I cannot imagine any tights manufacturer thinking women would be comfortable with no gusset and an extremely thick seam.
I sincerely hope that Gaynor-Minden will consider adding a gusset to their tights. These were extremely disappointing.

LOVE
Excellent pair of tights!! I love them, sadly, I was moving tumbling mats that were left behind in the studio and the Velcro attached to them so I’m sure you know how that went. Surprisingly, it was just a small tear but enough to cause a run. I will definitely be ordering more of these soon!! They are such a durable material! No tights can withstand Velcro, so definitely impressed it was just a tiny hole and short run. These tights definitely last forever and are a nice solid black.

GOOD, BUT A BIT WORRIED
These tights are REALLY soft and very flattering on the legs. They're incredibly comfortable. However, I'm slightly worried that they're almost too soft and not sure how durable they'll be. I got two pairs and when trying them on, somehow managed to already put a hole in them. I don't think I was being especially careless or anything...and in the tights defense, I could've caught a toenail on them, but still! Needless to say, I'm super careful about putting them on. I've danced in them and really like the look of them! I'm an adult dancer who's on the curvy side. 5'4" and on the upper end of the weight range but the XL fit me fine.

BEST TIGHTS EVER
I LOVE these tights! They feel soft on, they stay up, and they have the appropriate amount of cling (stay tight but yet easy to pull up). Elastic has held up to several washings. The stirrup is long enough that it doesn't pull too much around the ankle. Very comfortable. I will be replacing all my old tights with these!

I just got mine in the mail the other day. I've only tried them on so far and haven't actually gotten to dance in the them yet, but they fit so nice and seem so comfortable! I love the waist band and they seem like a strong, durable tight. I think I might be ordering a spare pair!
