dancerwoman10/25/2014THESE ARE BETTER THAN ANY OTHERS I HAVE
I have spent a fortune trying many different brands and styles of pointe shoes. These actually fit pretty well. The soft shank is great because my feet are not that strong and I can push through the shoe the way I'm supposed to, which is supposed to help with this. I don't know that I will ever find a pair that will not slip off my heels (because mine are extremely narrow, an old family trait, unfortunately passed down to me!), but other than that they are a good pair of shoes at a reasonable price.

When I got fitted for my first pair of pointe shoes these are the shoes I got. They lasted me a good amount of time considering that I used them alot. I think that these are very comfortable and at the same time gery supportive shoes. I recommend these shoes when getting your first pair.

These were my first pointe shoes, and i got them professionally fit. They were hard to break in, and did nawt flatter my feet AT ALL. Mine happened to be really squeky, i have NO idea why....It was also hard to get over the box...These were defnitly NOT the shoes for me.
This was my first pointe shoe. They are amazingly comfortable, and easy to get on pointe! The are also flattering!

danceherbest 09/18/2015 Age: 18 to 24 Is the vamp actually long? Or is it more medium sized?
This shoe is created with a "Bloch" long vamp. Please do not cross compare different brands of shoes. What might be a long vamp in one, might be a short vamp in another. If you have further detailed questions, please contact our customer service department. - DDS Customer Service (09/23/2015)
Anne 01/29/2014 California, Usa Age: 17 or under How do I know how hard the shank of pointe shoes are?
My old pair of bloch amelie's are really worn out. I want to buy the exact same type online, however the website had 2 different types. One with medium shank and one with soft shank. Is there anyway to tell how hard the shank is of my old pair?
If the shoes are as worn out as you say, It may be hard to tell which level of firmness the shank originally had. Your best bet would be to order one of each and then when you get them home, try them on and see how they feel. You can always return the other pair if they don't seem to be right. Just be careful not to soil them and you should be fine. - Dancerwoman (10/26/2014)
ballerina1996 01/17/2013 Age: 17 or under which size and wide should i buy?
I wear a 7 in street shoes , and i been using Bloch aspiration pointe shoe in size 5 and wide B. Please help me I really want these shoes
The size guides on this particular shoe does state to order 1-1.5 sizes smaller than street. This is just for suggested fitting not a gurantee. If you would like more of a gurantee sizing, I would suggest getting fitted for these shoes in a local store. - DDS Customer Service (01/17/2013)
