These pins are the best for buns because they slip right in and can even hold thick hair. They stay on and keeps my bun in place while turning. Definitely the best bun pins around.

The weight of these pins is absolutely unmatched. I have really thick hair and with 4 of these and a hairnet, I'm pretty well set. However, if you've ever bought cheap bobby pins where the little rubber tips have come off, that's how these feel going in. Something about the ends catch and pull on my hair, which is why I took away 1 star. However, because these both hold well and will last a long time, I still think they are a decent purchase and I will just deal with the discomfort.

These hair pins are a great investment because they are large and heavy duty, and as a result, they are very effective at holding hair in place in a bun. They are rather comfortable (as long as you don't poke one directly into your scalp)! I would highly recommend them to others!

I love these hair pins!!!! i have been getting them for years. They are amazing quality, and great color. I will say, they can be painful like all others, but its just because they are so strong. They never bend, and almost always stay in. If you are looking for great hair pins, pick these. They are unlike any others.

you can buy cheap ones in the store but the metal is so flimsy they don't hold up and can barely hold the bun in place. These are fabulous ... thick and durable with a wide base that provides the perfect bun! The various colors are even better. My daughter is a strawberry blonde so the blonde pins are PERFECT! Will never buy the cheap-os again. these are worth every penny!

I use these a lot. My only bad review for them would be that sometimes, my bun starts to fall out in class, and you have to be very careful with how you insert them, or they will not support you and will pop out. If you insert them into your bun correctly, they do wonders!

Perfect size bobby pin for my daughters fine hair. The longer ones went right through and stuck out the other side of her bun. These are the perfect size and you only need a couple to hold hair in a perfect bun all day.

I really like these hairpins. They stay in my hair and are comfortable. If you have light brown hair like I do. I would recomend getting the blonde if you want them to completely blend in.

These are probably the best hair pins any dancer could ask for. They are the only brand that will hold my hair in a bun and I only have to use 4! I own the largest size pins as well but now that my hair is short, they were too long to fit thru my hair, but this size is perfect! I will always have these in my dance bag, they are a must have item!! I recommend to every dancer! :)

Where do I even begin? These pins hold my thick, curly, unmaintainable hair better than any other hairpins I have used. With only five pins I can hold a bun in place (as long as I won't be dancing with it). They don't fall out because unlike bobby pins, you don't have to stretch them to fit the hair inside. They also come in a curved shape so that they fit around your head instead of sticking out in all directions. I highly recommend these pins!

I can go from ponytail to bun in five seconds with one pin.
I raved to a friend who asked how long they'd really hold my hair. Here's how well they work. I washed and dried my hair, which is when my fine hair is toughest to control. Then I made a bun on a Monday. I slept with in in my hair until Friday (a week of no class, and I only wash my hair as needed) when I saw that friend again. She was speechless when I told her I hadn't remade my bun in four days. That was with ONE pin. Over some time mine have all ended up lost, so I've ordered some more. I can't recommend these pins enough.

These hair pins make doing my hair so much easier. Just be careful because they hurt when they poke you in the head. Sometimes if they are open too wide, they won't hold hair. You can fix this by pressing the "teeth" together to make a slimmer pin that will hold hair better. Over all, these are great and blend in well with my hair color (blonde).

These are strong, as comfy as pins can get, and can hold lots of hair. If you have thin hair though, don't use, they'll stick out of your bun. They also are pretty bendable, which is good and bad. I recommend these pins (Unless, of course, you don't have a lot of hair)

These are the best bobby pins I've ever had! They hold my hair really well and the make secure buns. My hair is on the short side and most pins can't keep it in a bun. These are great.

These pins hold hair really well even if you have layers. They make really nice buns and they don't hurt. I really like these and would definitley reccomend them.

These pins are unbelievably strong!! I used to wear regular 1 inch pins that you can buy at CVS and i would need 40 every day, but with these i only need 6 for my whole bun, and my hair goes down to my hips!! they stay in for hours and go in super easy!!

My daughter has a lot of hair so keeping it up in a bun can be challenging. These hair pins work fabulously and make it so that she doesn't have to put a million regular bobby pins in to hold up the bun. We love these and highly recommend them! If you have very thin hair or very little hair, they probably wouldn't work as well since they are so big.

These hairpins are super strong! They hold your hair very well. The only problem is that I have medium blonde hair, and the blonde color is a little off. It has a little orange color to it, and doesn't match my hair color. Otherwise, great pins!!!
